Lipton Ice Tea
through
the centuries
For a university packaging design project, I was assigned to redesign the well-known product Lipton Ice Tea. I explored two different visual approaches that stayed connected to the brand’s identity.
The first design was inspired by ancient Greek art, featuring Helios, the God of the Sun, surrounded by his followers, representing the sun element from Lipton's original branding.
The second design drew from Japanese Edo period artwork. Since Japan is known as the "Land of the Rising Sun," it was a fitting way to tie in the brand’s sun imagery with a culturally rich visual style.
